Game Objective
The goal of Wordle Unlimited is to guess a 5-letter word in 6 attempts or fewer. Each guess provides valuable feedback through color-coded tiles that help you narrow down the correct answer.
Basic Rules
- Each guess must be a valid 5-letter English word
- You have 6 attempts to guess the correct word
- After each guess, tile colors change to show how close you are
- You can play unlimited games with no daily restrictions
- Use either the on-screen keyboard or your physical keyboard
Color Feedback System
After submitting a guess, each letter tile will change color to provide feedback:
W

R
Y
Green means the letter W is in the word and in the correct position.
P
I
L
L
S
Yellow means the letter I is in the word but in the wrong position.
V
A
G
U
E
Gray means the letter U is not in the word at all.
Hard Mode
For an extra challenge, enable Hard Mode in the settings. When active, you must use all revealed clues in your subsequent guesses:
- Letters shown in green must be used in the same position in future guesses
- Letters shown in yellow must be included somewhere in future guesses
- This forces more strategic thinking and can be quite challenging
Tips and Strategies
- Start with vowel-rich words like ADIEU or AUDIO to quickly identify vowels
- Use common consonants like R, S, T, N, and L in your early guesses
- Avoid repeating letters in your first few guesses to gather more information
- Pay attention to letter position and use yellow tile feedback wisely
- Think of word patterns and common endings like -ER, -ED, -LY, or -ING
- Learn from mistakes - each game helps build pattern recognition
Accessibility Features
Wordle Unlimited includes several accessibility options available in Settings:
- Dark Mode: Reduces eye strain in low-light environments
- Colorblind Mode: Uses high-contrast orange and blue instead of green and yellow
- Reduce Motion: Disables tile flip animations for users sensitive to motion
- Keyboard Support: Full physical keyboard support with screen reader compatibility
